David Bailey: In 2007, Channel 4 commissioned a three-hour documentary about the history of modelling directed by David Bailey. James Sherwood worked as script-writer for Bailey's interviews with icons such as Carmen, Penelope Tree, Jean Shrimpton, Twiggy, Jerry Hall, Marie Helvin, Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. The accompanying book featured words by James Sherwood and portraits by Bailey.

Uniform: Order & Disorder published by Charta in 2000 was a book edited by Francesco Bonami, Maria Lusia Frisa & Stefano Tonchi to coincide with a Pitti Immagine Uomo exhibition. 2009 is the 10th anniversary of the annual Louis Vuitton City Guides. James Sherwood has written the London Guide six times; reporting on the capital's restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, museums, art galleries, cocktail bars, health spas, jewellers and tailors. He has been commissioned to edit the Vuitton London Guide for 2010 that will be a standalone edition as well as part of the boxed set of City Guides. This year's guide will be co-written with Dominic Lutyens and Sunday Times Style beauty editor Edwina Ings-Chambers.
